Copywriter

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Concept, write, proofread and edit copy for digital marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Execute thoughtful campaigns that achieve business goals.

  • Strategize and develop copy for digital marketing campaigns for clients, alongside paid media team colleagues.

  • Apply paid media performance best practices to all copy production.

  • Work with media team to develop long-term strategies, including but not limited to A/B testing opportunities and new-to-client platforms.

  • Work within tight deadlines and deliver accurate, concise and well-polished copy that delivers on client goals and the goals of the creative brief.

  • Work within processes and project management tools to streamline approvals and cross-functional alignment.

  • Monitor performance and solicit feedback to optimize performance and maximize learnings.

  • Be up-to-date with each client's industry trends, target audience landscape and product knowledge to create accurate, compelling copy.

  • Be up-to-date with digital marketing industry trends to align with platform and strategy innovation.

  • Collaborate with all departments to assess project needs, brainstorm ideas, and generate innovative, compelling copy.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1-2 years experience

  • Foundational experience in digital marketing and social media.

  • Verifiable experience writing and proofreading.

  • The ability to accept editing in a professional manner and to learn from your edits.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Must be results-oriented with an understanding of paid media metrics and the ability to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness.

  • A team player approach; willing to pitch in when needed.

  • A curious self-starter with the ability to dive into unknown territory and learn new concepts.
